Accounts & Administration Assistant (Part-Time or Full-Time)

Location: Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny (Hybrid / Work From Home Available)
Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (Flexible Hours)

About Us

CJ Carpentry & Construction Ltd. is a growing construction company specialising in high-quality residential renovations, extensions, bespoke joinery and construction projects. As our business continues to expand, we are looking for an organised and motivated Accounts & Administration Assistant to help build and manage the administrative systems that support the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys creating efficient systems, improving processes, and becoming an integral part of a growing company.

Key Responsibilities

Managing the company’s Purchase Order (PO) system.
Tracking and organising VAT receipts.
Processing supplier invoices and maintaining accurate records.
Recording employee time clocks and preparing payroll information.
Assisting with payroll administration.
General accounts administration and data entry.
Monitoring company expenditure and assisting with job costing.
Organising office systems, files and documentation.
Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and the site team.
Supporting management with general administrative duties.

What We’re Looking For

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Good computer skills and confidence using Microsoft Office.
Previous accounts or administration experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to develop and improve office systems.
Experience within the construction industry would be an advantage but is not required.
