HR Administrator
Applications are invited for the position of HR Administrator within the Human Resources Department at Galway Clinic. We offer an opportunity to develop your HR career within a professional and supportive environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and motivated HR professional to join a HR team in a leading healthcare environment. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support across a broad range of HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, training coordination, and payroll support.
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week
Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team across all HR functions.
Coordinate the recruitment process from advertisement through to onboarding.
Prepare and publish job advertisements and manage recruitment campaigns.
Schedule interviews and maintain communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Conduct pre-employment checks, including qualification verification, references, Garda Vetting, occupational health clearance, and professional registrations.
Administer employment permits and visa applications as required.
Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and new starter documentation.
Support employee onboarding and orientation programmes.
Prepare, review, and update job descriptions as required.
Maintain accurate HR records, databases, and personnel files in accordance with GDPR and organisational policies.
Assist with HR and payroll projects and provide payroll administration support when required.
Support the coordination and administration of employee training and development activities.
Contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.
Undertake additional duties appropriate to the role as required.
Essential Requirements
A third-level qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to strict deadlines.
High levels of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
Strong IT skills, including experience using HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications.
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Requirements
A minimum of six months' administrative experience within a HR environment.
CIPD qualification or membership.
Experience supporting payroll administration.
Previous experience within a healthcare environment.
