Group Director of Spa & Wellness

The Ardán Collective is seeking an exceptional Group Director of Spa & Wellnessto lead and elevate our spa and wellness portfolio across the group. This is a senior leadership role for an experienced hospitality and wellness professional who is passionate about creating outstanding guest experiences, driving commercial performance, and developing innovative wellness concepts.

Reporting to the Group COO for Spa & Wellness Operations and working closely with the Company Owner on strategic projects, you will oversee the operational excellence, financial success, and long-term development of our spa and wellness offering across multiple properties.

About the Role

As Group Director of Spa & Wellness, you will provide strategic leadership while supporting operational teams to deliver exceptional standards across every location. You will be responsible for developing a distinctive wellness vision for The Ardán Collective, ensuring consistency in service, strong commercial performance, and memorable guest experiences that reflect our luxury brand.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence the future of wellness within one of Ireland's most dynamic hospitality groups.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Operations

Provide operational leadership and support across all spa and wellness facilities.
Develop and implement consistent operating standards, SOPs, and service protocols.
Conduct regular site visits to maintain exceptional quality, compliance, and guest satisfaction.
Lead health, safety, and hygiene standards across all spa and wellness operations.

Commercial & Financial Performance

Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and commercial strategies.
Monitor financial performance, KPIs, and profitability across all locations.
Drive revenue through pricing strategies, promotions, retail performance, and innovative wellness offerings.
Analyse market trends and competitor activity to ensure the business remains an industry leader.

People Leadership

Recruit, mentor, and develop Spa and Wellness Managers and key team members.
Create structured training and development programmes that promote excellence in guest care and technical expertise.
Build clear performance management and career development pathways.
Foster a culture of wellbeing, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Guest Experience & Brand Standards

Deliver exceptional guest experiences through consistently high service standards.
Design and develop signature treatments and wellness programmes unique to The Ardán Collective.
Monitor guest feedback and implement continuous improvements.
Ensure a consistent luxury brand experience across every property.

Sales, Marketing & Brand Development

Partner with Group Sales & Marketing and local property teams to grow spa and wellness revenue.
Identify market opportunities through competitor and industry analysis.
Represent The Ardán Collective at industry events and build strong relationships with key wellness partners.
Develop and deliver events and initiatives that enhance brand awareness and commercial performance.

Strategic Development

Lead the long-term wellness strategy across the group.
Support new spa developments, refurbishments, and wellness concept creation.
Build partnerships with leading wellness brands, suppliers, and practitioners.
Identify emerging wellness trends and integrate innovative concepts into the guest experience.
Develop a distinctive wellness offering tailored to each property while maintaining a cohesive group vision.

About You

You are an experienced hospitality and wellness leader with a proven ability to inspire teams, deliver commercial success, and create exceptional guest experiences. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on operational expertise and thrive in a multi-site environment.

You'll bring:

A minimum of 5–7 years' experience in spa and wellness management.
Experience managing multiple luxury hospitality or premium wellness locations.
A recognised qualification in spa management, beauty therapy, wellness management, or a related discipline.
Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to grow revenue and profitability.
Extensive knowledge of spa operations, treatments, wellness trends, and guest experience.
Outstanding leadership, communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and quality.
