MCG Auto-Styling is one of Ireland's leading aftermarket and performance parts businesses, supplying thousands of products to car enthusiasts, workshops and trade customers throughout Ireland and Europe.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a full-time Warehouse & Stores Assistant to join our expanding team.
This is a hands-on role within our warehouse and stores operation, ensuring products are received, stored, picked and dispatched accurately while maintaining a clean, organised and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and checking deliveries from suppliers.
- Booking stock accurately into our stock management system.
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for daily dispatch.
- Preparing goods for courier collection and customer collection.
- Carrying out regular stock counts and assisting with scheduled stock takes.
- Organising and maintaining warehouse shelving and storage locations.
- Ensuring stock is correctly labelled and stored.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse and stores environment.
- Assisting with container and pallet deliveries, including unloading and organising stock.
- Working both indoors and outdoors as required, including receiving and processing deliveries in the yard.
- Moving stock safely between warehouse locations.
- Reporting damaged, missing or incorrect stock.
- Following company health and safety procedures at all times.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Have excellent attention to detail.
- Be reliable, punctual and well organised.
- Be capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Be physically fit and comfortable with regular manual handling and lifting.
- Be happy working both indoors and outdoors when required.
- Be comfortable using computers and modern software systems.
- Have good general IT skills and confidence learning new software.
- Have good communication skills.
- Take pride in maintaining a clean, organised and efficient working environment.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Previous warehouse or stores experience.
- An interest in or knowledge of the automotive aftermarket, performance or motorsport industry.
- Full clean driving licence.
Role Requirements
This is a physically active role and applicants should be comfortable:
- Lifting and moving products of varying sizes and weights throughout the day.
- Spending most of the working day on their feet.
- Assisting with unloading container and pallet deliveries.
- Carrying out occasional outdoor duties, including receiving and processing deliveries in the yard.
