What Will You Be Doing?
As part of our team, you will play an important role in supporting our older clients and helping to create a warm, friendly and welcoming environment.
Your duties will include:
- Providing friendly support and companionship to older people.
- Assisting clients with their day-to-day needs and ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
- Preparing and serving meals and assisting clients at mealtimes.
- Supporting clients with toileting and personal care needs, where required.
- Helping to organise and participate in activities, social events and daily programmes.
- Encouraging clients to participate and enjoy their time at the centre.
- Keeping the centre clean, tidy and welcoming.
- Carrying out general household duties.
- Working as part of a friendly and supportive team.
Training & Development
This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn new skills, gain valuable work experience and achieve accredited qualifications. Training will be provided to help you develop your confidence and progress towards future employment opportunities.

Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.
Please note: This position is subject to satisfactory Garda Vetting.
