The Laurels, Clondalkin is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen team. A fantastic opportunity to join an award winning Ireland Pub of the Year!

We’re looking for a Senior Sous Chef with integrity, humility, and excelllent work ethic. Someone who leads by example, stays calm under pressure, and takes pride in doing things the right way.

You’ll need to love the heat of a busy kitchen where everyone genuinely cares. We work with passion, we respect one another, and we all pull in the same direction. There are no passengers here—only people committed to excellence.

If you’re honest, dependable, polite, resilient, and believe that hard work is its own reward, we’d love to meet you.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience as a Sous Chef, Senior Sous Chef, or experienced Chef de Partie in a busy food-led venue.
Strong experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.
A genuine passion for food, quality, and consistency.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to support and develop a kitchen team.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
A good understanding of HACCP, food safety, and kitchen standards.
A hands-on approach and strong work ethic.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
A positive attitude and pride in delivering excellent food for every guest.
