We are currently recruiting a Chef de Partie to join our culinary team in our Carriage House restaurant at Carton House.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in line with the Carriage House menu and standards.

Manage and maintain a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring consistent food quality, timing, and presentation during service.

Support the Head Chef and Sous Chefs in the smooth day-to-day running of a busy, fast-paced kitchen operation.

Ensure all mise en place is completed efficiently and to a high standard in preparation for service.

Maintain consistent adherence to recipes, portion control, and presentation guidelines.

Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service and a positive working environment.

Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations at all times.

Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and proper storage within your section and across the kitchen.

Assist with stock rotation, deliveries, labelling, and minimising food waste.

Contribute to menu development ideas and daily specials where appropriate.

Communicate effectively with the wider team to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
Key Requirements:

Minimum 5 years + experience.

Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie in a busy restaurant, or hotel kitchen.

A genuine passion for fresh, high-quality food and modern gastro pub cuisine.

Strong understanding of kitchen operations and section management in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to consistently deliver high standards under pressure during busy service periods.

Good knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and kitchen hygiene procedures.

Strong attention to detail with a focus on consistency and presentation.

Ability to work well as part of a team and take direction from senior chefs.

Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
