Transport Administrator

Location: Dublin, Ireland
Salary: From €40,000.00 per year
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

About Us

We are a growing logistics company focused on delivering fast, reliable, and compliant transport solutions across Ireland and beyond. We value teamwork, clear communication, accuracy, and practical problem solving as core parts of how we operate.

We are now looking for an experienced Transport Administrator to join our transport team. This role is ideal for someone with strong logistics administration experience who is confident working in a busy transport environment and understands the importance of accurate manifests, route documentation, and operational coordination.

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Manifest Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the daily transport operation by ensuring that manifests, delivery paperwork, schedules, and transport records are accurate, updated, and issued on time.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing, checking, and issuing daily transport manifests
Ensuring all route paperwork, delivery documentation, and load information is accurate and complete
Supporting transport planners with daily scheduling, route updates, and allocation administration
Liaising with drivers, warehouse teams, customer service teams, and internal departments
Updating transport systems with delivery, collection, and route information
Monitoring paperwork returns, PODs, manifest discrepancies, and missing information
Supporting compliance with drivers’ hours, rest periods, and internal transport procedures
Assisting with reporting, data entry, operational trackers, and performance records
Handling transport-related queries in a professional and timely manner
Escalating issues promptly where routes, manifests, paperwork, or customer requirements may be impacted

This is a busy and varied role that requires strong attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to stay calm and organised under pressure.

What We’re Looking For

We would love to hear from you if you:

Have experience in logistics administration, transport administration, manifesting, or a similar operational role
Understand the importance of accurate transport paperwork, manifests, PODs, and route information
Are confident using transport systems, Microsoft Office, and Excel
Have strong attention to detail and can identify errors or missing information quickly
Are organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Communicate clearly with drivers, warehouse teams, planners, and customers
Are solution-focused and comfortable working to daily deadlines
Have a good understanding of transport operations and delivery processes

Experience in transport planning or working closely with transport planners would be a strong advantage.

Desirable but Not Essential

Previous experience using transport management systems
Knowledge of drivers’ hours and transport compliance requirements
Experience in route planning, load planning, or fleet administration
Strong Excel skills

Training will be provided on our internal systems, but previous logistics or transport administration experience is required.
