Head Chef

Goats Gruff | Strawberry Beds & Castleknock, Dublin
Salary: €50,000–€60,000

We're looking for an exceptional Head Chef to lead our growing kitchen team across both of our Goats Gruff locations - Castlenock and Strawberry Beds.

Goats Gruff has built a reputation for serving some of Dublin's best Neapolitan pizza alongside award-winning food in a fast-paced, energetic environment. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a leader who takes pride in developing people, maintaining exceptional standards, and driving a positive kitchen culture.

This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing operations at both our Strawberry Beds and Castleknock locations.

What you'll be responsible for

Leading, motivating and developing our kitchen team
Maintaining consistently high food quality and presentation
Overseeing authentic Neapolitan pizza production
Managing dough production and quality control
Stock ordering, stock control and minimising waste
Food safety, HACCP compliance and kitchen organisation
Labour planning and rostering alongside management
Training new chefs and maintaining kitchen standards
Working closely with management to continually improve operations and service

We're looking for someone who has

Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef
Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team
Proven experience making authentic Neapolitan pizza
Excellent knowledge of dough production and fermentation
Strong stock control and ordering experience
High standards, attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
A positive, solutions-focused attitude
The ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced service

A full driving licence would be a significant advantage, as you'll be overseeing both locations.

€50,000–€60,000 salary (depending on experience)
