What are we looking for?

The Wurth Ireland team is seeking a highly organised and energetic person to join our Operations Team. Your Mission

This person will be instrumental in ensuring Wurth Ireland's adherence to regulatory requirements and maintaining high compliance standards across areas including Health and Safety, Information Technology, Quality Management, Environmental and Sustainability Management, and Facilities Management.

The role will also coordinate the activities of Wurth Ireland's external facilities management and health and safety contractors, ensuring that agreed services, inspections, maintenance activities and corrective actions are completed effectively and within the required timelines.

Key activities will include:

Identify, assess and manage compliance risks across the organisation, seeking advice or assistance from the Wurth Group and external stakeholders when required.
Create, implement and maintain compliance policies, procedures and supporting documentation.
Conduct audits to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, including supplier codes of conduct, anti-corruption, competition law, data protection, health and safety, environmental requirements and facilities-related controls.
Coordinate external facilities management and health and safety contractors, including scheduling activities, monitoring service delivery, following up on identified actions and maintaining appropriate records.
Act as the main point of contact for facilities and health and safety service providers, escalating performance, safety or compliance concerns where necessary.
Undertake field trips nationwide to conduct assessments at shop branches and, where required, with our mobile workforce.
Collaborate with external auditors, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders as required.
Provide guidance and support on compliance, health and safety and facilities-related matters to Heads of Department and employees.
Prepare and present compliance, risk, facilities and health and safety reports for senior management.
Advise, review and challenge the business in response to changing regulatory requirements, identifying potential impacts and supporting timely implementation by the relevant departments.
Help develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, corrective actions and improvement plans.
Assist in the management of crisis situations, compliance violations, health and safety incidents or significant facilities issues.
Stay up to date with internal standards, regulatory developments and business priorities.

Skills and Experience

A third-level qualification in Business Studies, Business Administration, Compliance, Health and Safety, Facilities Management, Risk Management or a related discipline is essential.
A minimum of three years' relevant professional experience is desirable.
Strong business acumen and attention to detail.
Analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to interpret regulations and compliance standards, provide practical solutions and prepare company-level reports.
Project-management capability, with an understanding of relevant methods, tools and practices.
Experience coordinating external contractors or service providers would be advantageous.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders.
An effective collaborator who can develop productive working relationships at all levels of the organisation.
Strong integrity, accountability and professional ethics.

Requirements: Full Drivers licence with a willingness to travel nationwide essential.

Salary: €37,000 - €42,000 DOE

Location: Head Office, Limerick. Remote working option available. Max two days per week.
