Job Summary
As the Manager of Professional Services, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer satisfaction, service delivery excellence, and revenue growth in the EMEA region. Leading a team of consultants and project managers, you will oversee infrastructure improvements, implementations, and data migrations to NetApp hybrid storage solutions. You will also focus on managing automation deliverables, leveraging best practices, and collaborating with global teams to enhance customer success.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead customer service delivery and team management, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Understand customer needs and implement optimal service models tailored to business goals.
- Optimize processes to improve efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction across projects.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage the performance of consultants and project managers.
- Monitor and manage KPIs such as revenue, costs, and utilization rates to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify and propose professional services opportunities.
- Drive new service planning and operational improvements specific to the EMEA region.
- Partner with global teams (sales, support, product, and partners) to enhance customer success.
- Strong people-management skills, with experience leading teams handling multiple concurrent assignments.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions based on analysis and facts.
- Flexible and proactive, capable of navigating uncertainty and adapting to dynamic business environments.
- Practical experience in customer service and escalation management in high-pressure situations.
- Proven expertise in managing automation deliverables with a solid understanding of methodologies and best practices.
- Experience in KPI management, revenue optimization, and operational improvement.
- Familiarity with major industries in EMEA, such as manufacturing, finance, distribution, or public sector.
- Ability to formulate and execute strategies that prioritize customer value and business impact.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with Senior Management and Customer Executive Levels effectively.
- Knowledge of ITIL methodologies (change, incident, problem, and configuration management).
- Understanding of virtualization technology, storage hardware, and technical project management.
- Experience leveraging analytics and performance metrics for continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with AI and Generative AI solutions, with the ability to drive their adoption for enhanced service delivery and operational efficiency.
- English proficiency is required; bilingual English-German skills are preferred. Knowledge of additional languages such as French, Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese is a plus.
Education & Experience
- 14+ years of relevant industry experience, including 4-8 years in people leadership roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple people, tasks, and projects simultaneously.
