Full job description

We are looking for a bold and self-motivated software engineer. You will own the system architecture and features end-to-end. Collaborating with the space engineering team team you’ll be deep in the trenches, and ship features in production apps with real users. Nitrexo improves product development quality and speed by standardizing, digitalizing, and automating Space engineering workflows. By partnering with Nitrexo, satellites and rockets manufacturers reduce development time of their designs by up to 50%, ensure good functioning of their equipment’s under space condition, and extend their product lifecycle. Nitrexo already works with several leading Space organisations, such as the European Space Agency (ESA). Nitrexo’s technology, the Digital Engineer®, is a digital tool accelerating engineering learnings, and allowing engineering students and professionals to build better and quicker products.

You will

Own the software architecture of Nitrexo’s platform (Blue Space AI®) and AI-powered Digital Assistant (the Digital Engineer®)
Own features end-to-end, and become an expert on domains across the product (payments, emails, live sessions, community, analytics, engineering workflows’ automation)
Collaborate with space engineers, and others across the team
Contribute to help shape our product roadmap and engineering culture
Work full-stack with Typescript, React, Next.js, Python, FastAPI, Postgres, and AWS, Github
Grow into a world-class leader in the engineering org

You have

Shipped features in production apps with real users
Experience with full-stack development
Frontend: TypeScript, Reactjs, OpenCascade
Backend: Python, Django, NLTK, TensorFlow, numpy
Database: SQL-based such as MariaDB or MongoDB
API development
Judgement around when to do something quickly, and when to build for the long term
Worked on and are passionate about AI
Familiar with Amazon Web Services or DigitalOcean
