Full job description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and motivated breakfast chef to join our kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their culinary skills in a dynamic café environment. You’ll be responsible for supporting the chefs in food preparation, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and learning all aspects of food production with a focus on sandwiches, pasta, and other café-style dishes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to the café’s menu
Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality and hygiene standards
Handle mise en place (prep work) for sandwiches, pasta, salads, and light meals
Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation
Follow instructions from senior chefs and support them as needed during busy service times
Monitor stock levels and inform the senior team of shortages
Comply with food safety, health, and hygiene regulations at all times
Contribute to a positive and productive kitchen environment

Requirements:

Previous kitchen experience is mandatory (training can be provided)
Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices
Willingness to learn and a strong passion for food
Ability to work well in a team and take direction
Good time management and ability to multitask under pressure
Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: €14.50-€16.50 per hour
