General Office Administrator – Wexford Head Office

Fixed-Term Contract – Six Months

Hertz Rent a Car is one of the largest and most recognised car rental companies in the world.

We currently have an opportunity for a General Office Administrator to join our team at our Head Office in Wexford.

We are looking for an organised and reliable individual with strong administration and IT skills. The ideal candidate will be confident using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and previous experience working in an office or administrative environment would be an advantage.

This role would suit someone who is comfortable working with reports, spreadsheets and general office administration and who can manage a variety of tasks in a busy working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide general administrative support to the office and wider team.
Prepare, update and maintain Excel spreadsheets, reports and records.
Generate daily and weekly reports as required.
Assist with data entry, filing and general document management.
Respond to telephone and email queries in a professional manner.
Liaise with colleagues and other departments as required.
Maintain accurate and organised records.
Assist with other general office duties and projects as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
Previous experience in an office administration or similar role would be an advantage.
Strong organisational skills and good attention to detail.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to accurately complete tasks within required timeframes.
Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Dependable, flexible and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Professional and polite telephone manner.
Willingness to learn and assist across different areas of the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with good administrative and Microsoft Office skills who is looking to gain further experience within a busy Head Office environment.
