PA / Office Administrator – Maternity Cover

Bective Stud Ltd | Bective, Co. Meath
Salary: €30,000–€32,000 per annum
Full-time | Monday–Friday | Temporary Maternity Cover

Bective Stud Ltd is seeking an experienced, highly organised and proactive PA / Office Administrator to join our team in Bective, Co. Meath, on a temporary maternity-cover basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied and fast-paced role, working closely with two busy Directors and providing essential administrative and PA support across the business, as well as several smaller properties and companies.

The successful candidate will be a confident communicator who is comfortable managing multiple priorities, taking initiative and ensuring that the day-to-day operation of the business runs smoothly.

The Role

This is a broad and varied position where no two days are necessarily the same. Responsibilities will include:

Providing comprehensive PA and administrative support to two Directors.
Managing diaries, meetings, appointments and travel arrangements.
Booking flights and accommodation and coordinating travel itineraries.
Handling telephone calls and enquiries from guests, customers, suppliers and contractors.
Supporting the day-to-day administration of the business and three smaller properties/companies.
Preparing employee timesheets and maintaining holiday records and schedules.
Ordering stationery, office supplies and other items required by the business.
Creating purchase orders and liaising with suppliers regarding orders and deliveries.
Coordinating contractors and service providers and assisting with day-to-day operational requirements.
Managing general office functions, including liaising with cleaners and other service providers.
Maintaining organised and accurate filing systems and records.
Using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, to produce accurate information and reports.
Assisting with a wide range of ad hoc administrative tasks and projects.
Proactively identifying issues and finding practical, efficient solutions.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Experienced in a PA, Office Administrator or similar broad business-support role.
Ideally 3+ years' experience in a comparable position.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Proactive, enthusiastic and able to work confidently on their own initiative.
An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
Confident dealing with people at all levels, including customers, suppliers, contractors and staff.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills.
Able to manage competing priorities in a busy environment while maintaining accuracy.
A logical and effective problem solver who takes a practical approach to resolving issues.
Flexible, professional and willing to take on a variety of responsibilities.
Equally comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
Someone who naturally anticipates what needs to be done and gets ahead of tasks wherever possible.
