Full job description

True Financial is a rapidly growing Irish financial services company operating a number of brands across insurance, protection, pensions, mortgages, financial advice and wealth planning.

The company is going through a period of significant expansion, with continued investment in our brands, websites, technology, marketing systems, reporting, automation and internal processes.

As we grow, we are looking to strengthen the way we manage systems, projects, data, suppliers and day-to-day operations across the business.

The Role

We are looking for an organised, technically minded person to work directly with our Head of IT & Marketing in an office-based role.

This is a hands-on role that will involve learning how our systems and processes work, helping coordinate tasks, supporting internal projects, assisting with reporting, and working with both internal teams and external suppliers.

A large part of the role will be learned through shadowing and practical in-house experience. The ideal candidate does not need to know every system from day one, but should be comfortable with technology, willing to learn, and able to take ownership of tasks over time.

This role may suit someone from an IT support, technical support, systems, digital operations or marketing operations background who wants to develop into a broader business systems role.

Key Responsibilities

IT, Systems & Supplier Coordination

· Work alongside the Head of department on IT, AI, systems and operational projects

· Coordinate tasks with outsourced IT providers and external developers

· Aid in improving overall operational efficiencies from an IT perspective

· Track open issues, follow up on progress and ensure tasks are completed

· Test fixes and system updates or rollouts before they are signed off

· Help explain technical issues clearly to suppliers and internal staff

Websites, Forms & Digital Systems

· Assist with website updates, testing and troubleshooting

· Help with online forms, lead journeys, notifications and redirects

· Implement and test website changes across desktop and mobile

· Support improvements to landing pages, quote forms and internal workflows

· Help document how key systems and processes work

Reporting, Spreadsheets & Data

· Help maintain internal datasheets and databases

· Check formulas, data accuracy and reporting outputs

· Assist with sales, lead, commission and marketing reports

· Spot errors, inconsistencies or missing information

· Help make reports clearer and easier to use

AI, Automation & Process Improvement

· Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude Code or similar to support practical work

· Help document processes, create checklists and improve workflows across all brands

· Assist in reducing repetitive manual tasks

· Assist with automation tools and system connections where required

· Support better organisation of internal processes as the business grows

Marketing Systems Support

· Support the technical and operational side of marketing activity

· Help check Google Ads landing pages, tracking and conversion paths

· Assist with campaign reporting and lead flow checks

· Support SEO, content and website projects where systems or reporting are involved

The Person We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is practical, organised, curious and comfortable working with technology.

You should be able to follow instructions, ask good questions, write clearly, test things properly and keep tasks moving. You do not need to be a developer, but you should have an interest in systems, websites, data, AI tools and improving how work gets done.

Useful Experience

Experience in any of the following would be an advantage:

· IT support or technical support

· WordPress or website administration

· Google Sheets/Excel

· AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude Code, paired with Supabase/Vercel

· Google Ads, GA4 or digital marketing systems such as Google Tag Manager.

· Experience working with CRMs

· Zapier or other automation tools

· Basic coding skills

· Working with external IT providers or developers

· Process documentation or reporting

· Strong attention to detail

· Good organisation and follow-up

· Interest in AI, automation and business systems

· Willingness to learn new tools

· Ability to manage multiple tasks

· Practical problem-solving ability

· Comfortable with spreadsheets and systems

We would be particularly interested in candidates who can show that they have:

· Built or worked on a side project or IT project in a company

· Automated a repetitive task in work or personal life

· Taught themselves a tool because they needed it

· Used AI tools to build, research, organise or solve problems

· Helped improve a system, report or workflow in a previous role

Working Arrangement

This is an office-based role working directly with the Head of IT & Marketing.

The role will involve regular interaction with internal teams, outsourced IT providers and external development partners.

The successful candidate will learn directly from the Head of IT & Marketing and gradually become an important support across IT, systems, websites, reporting, AI, automation, supplier coordination and business operations.
