The Role….
We are seeking a Project Planner to strengthen planning discipline across projects and improve predictability. This successful candidate will report into the central Project Management Office (PMO) Lead and will provide pivotal support to our project delivery teams.
The Role - The Project Planner will be responsible for the following:

Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project programmes and schedules
- Support Project Managers with: Schedule development and resource loading, sequencing of tasks and dependency mapping, programme optimisation and scenario planning

Track progress against baseline plans and highlight variances
- Identify risks, delays, and resource constraints early and escalate appropriately
- Provide schedule input into client reports and internal governance reporting
- Support portfolio-level visibility of planning and resource allocation
- Promote consistent planning standards and best practices across projects
- Work closely with Project Managers and Engineering Leads to challenge assumptions and improve schedule robustness
This role is based in our Portlaoise office.
The Candidate - The ideal candidate will possess the following:

3–7 years’ experience in a project planning or scheduling role preferably within technical and professional services industries.

A relevant qualification in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering or commensurate industry experience with an alternative qualification.

Strong proficiency in planning tools (MS Project, Primavera or equivalent)

Excellent attention to detail and logical thinking skills
-
Strong understanding of project lifecycles and sequencing
-
Ability to analyse data and communicate insights clearly

Confidence to challenge constructively and influence project teams

Experience in engineering, infrastructure, or construction projects advantageous
