Full job description

Walsh Waste & Recycling is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Payroll & HR Administrator to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, compliant and efficient payroll administration.

Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with HR, you will play a key role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while supporting payroll compliance, reporting and HR administration activities across the business.

About The Role

As Payroll and HR Administrator, you will be responsible for managing payroll processes, maintaining employee records, supporting compliance requirements and providing support to employees and management.

Process weekly payroll for approximately 90 employees, ensuring all payroll information is accurate, compliant and delivered on schedule.
Manage payroll changes including new starters, leavers, salary adjustments, overtime, pension contributions and deductions.
Maintain payroll and employee records in accordance with statutory requirements and company policies.
Respond to employee payroll queries in a professional, confidential and timely manner.
Liaise with external payroll providers, assist with payroll reporting, audits, budgeting, forecasting,and support continuous process improvements.
