Office Administrator (Construction)Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Office Administrator to join our busy construction company. This is a varied role that requires excellent administrative, customer service, and organisational skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the office, assisting with accounts administration, and providing exceptional service to customers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer enquiries professionally.
Manage incoming and outgoing emails.
Process supplier invoices and customer payments using Big Red Cloud accounting software.
Create purchase orders and maintain accurate records.
Prepare, update, and maintain company documentation.
File and organise both electronic and paper records.
Assist with general office administration and day-to-day office operations.
Liaise with customers, suppliers, and contractors as required.
Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in an office administration or administrative assistant role.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with Big Red Cloud accounting software is an advantage but not essential.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience within the construction industry is desirable but not essential.
