Full job description

We are looking for a creative, organised and proactive Marketing Assistant to join our marketing agency.

This role is ideal for someone who has a genuine passion for social media, content creation, copywriting and design. You’ll help create engaging content, support client campaigns and bring fresh ideas to the team.

Key Responsibilities

Create and schedule social media content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok
Write engaging copy for social posts, emails, blogs, websites and campaigns
Create eye-catching graphics and branded content using Canva
Create and edit short-form video content using CapCut
Support content planning, campaign ideas and creative brainstorming
Communicate with clients and customers in a professional and friendly way
Build strong client relationships and support day-to-day account activity
Keep up to date with social media trends, platform updates and industry news
Suggest fresh content ideas based on trends and what is happening in the market
Help monitor content performance and prepare basic reports
Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines

Skills and Qualities

The ideal candidate will have:

Strong copywriting skills and excellent attention to detail
Experience using Canva to create social media graphics and marketing content
Experience using CapCut to create and edit short-form video content
A strong understanding of social media platforms and content formats
A passion for social media, trends and digital marketing
A creative eye for design, storytelling and content ideas
Confidence speaking with clients and customers
Strong relationship-building skills
Good organisation and time management
The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
A positive, can-do attitude
The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
A willingness to learn, take feedback and bring new ideas to the table
