We are looking for a creative, organised and proactive Marketing Assistant to join our marketing agency.
This role is ideal for someone who has a genuine passion for social media, content creation, copywriting and design. You’ll help create engaging content, support client campaigns and bring fresh ideas to the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and schedule social media content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok
- Write engaging copy for social posts, emails, blogs, websites and campaigns
- Create eye-catching graphics and branded content using Canva
- Create and edit short-form video content using CapCut
- Support content planning, campaign ideas and creative brainstorming
- Communicate with clients and customers in a professional and friendly way
- Build strong client relationships and support day-to-day account activity
- Keep up to date with social media trends, platform updates and industry news
- Suggest fresh content ideas based on trends and what is happening in the market
- Help monitor content performance and prepare basic reports
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
Skills and Qualities
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong copywriting skills and excellent attention to detail
- Experience using Canva to create social media graphics and marketing content
- Experience using CapCut to create and edit short-form video content
- A strong understanding of social media platforms and content formats
- A passion for social media, trends and digital marketing
- A creative eye for design, storytelling and content ideas
- Confidence speaking with clients and customers
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Good organisation and time management
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- A positive, can-do attitude
- The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- A willingness to learn, take feedback and bring new ideas to the table
