The Role
As a Sales Executive, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience from first enquiry through to vehicle handover and beyond.
Working from our modern showroom, you will assist customers in selecting the right vehicle to suit their needs and budget while building lasting relationships that encourage repeat business and referrals.
You will represent the Peugeot, Renault and Dacia brands while also promoting our extensive range of quality used vehicles. Success in this role comes from excellent customer service, strong communication skills, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for helping customers find the right vehicle.
Key ResponsibilitiesVehicle Sales
- Sell new Peugeot, Renault and Dacia vehicles.
- Sell quality approved used vehicles from our extensive stock.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable vehicle solutions.
- Conduct vehicle presentations, demonstrations and test drives.
- Guide customers through the complete sales process.
Customer Experience
- Deliver a professional and memorable customer journey.
- Build strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Generate repeat business and customer referrals.
- Ensure all customer enquiries are followed up promptly and professionally.
Finance & Product Sales
- Present finance and vehicle protection products.
- Explain available finance packages and purchasing options.
- Maximise opportunities to enhance the customer experience through value-added products and services.
Lead Management
- Manage showroom, telephone and online enquiries effectively.
- Maintain accurate customer records within the dealership CRM system.
- Follow up on sales opportunities in a timely and professional manner.
Performance & Brand Representation
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets.
- Maintain excellent product knowledge across all vehicle ranges.
- Keep up to date with manufacturer product developments and market trends.
- Represent JJ Burke Car Sales and our brands to the highest professional standard.

Essential Requirements
- Previous sales or customer-facing experience.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Full clean Irish driver's licence.
- Strong IT skills.
Desirable
- Experience in motor sales or retail sales.
- Experience within a target-driven environment.
- Knowledge of finance and vehicle sales processes.
Motor industry experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided to the right candidate.
Working Hours
- Full-time permanent position.
- 40-hour working week.
- Five working days per week, scheduled between Monday and Saturday.
- As a customer-focused sales role, flexibility is required to accommodate customer appointments and business needs.
- The successful candidate may occasionally be required to adjust their working hours to meet customer expectations and deliver an exceptional sales experience.
