As demand continues to grow, we are now looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead growth across the Irish market (excluding healthcare).
The Role
We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth across Ireland, with a primary focus on:
- Schools (mainstream & specialist)
- Multi-Academy Trust equivalents / ETBs
- Local Authorities & Education Departments
- Community & public sector organisations
- Corporate & workplace wellbeing opportunities
- Retail & community partnerships
This is a coosultative sales role focused on building meaningful partnerships, identifying opportunities, managing full sales cycles, and helping organisations understand the measurable impact Cubbie can deliver.
You will play a key role in expanding Cubbie’s presence across Ireland and supporting our mission to improve wellbeing and inclusion outcomes nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic territory growth plan across Ireland
- Identify and engage new business opportunities across education, public sector, and community markets
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders including Principals, SEND/Inclusion Leads, Directors, CEOs, procurement teams, and local authority leaders
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
- Deliver high-quality product demonstrations, presentations, and consultations
- Support customers in building business cases and identifying funding opportunities
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting within Salesforce CRM
- Attend exhibitions, conferences, networking events, and client meetings across Ireland
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Leadership teams
- Represent the Cubbie brand professionally and passionately at all times
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Proven track record in business development, partnerships, or consultative sales
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Experience managing long and short sales cycles
- Highly self-motivated and commercially driven
- Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently
- Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across Ireland
- Experience using CRM systems (preferably Salesforce)
Desirable
- Experience working within education, public sector, wellbeing, SEND, inclusion, or workplace wellbeing sectors
- Existing network within Irish education or public sector markets
- Experience with framework procurement or public sector tendering

Package
- Salary expectation: £40,000 per annum
- Commission structure
- Hybrid role
- Candidate must be willing to travel to Kiltimagh at least once per week
- Travel expenses covered in line with company policy
