Full job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Customer Service Representative to join our organisation. As a Logistics Customer Service Representative , you will work as part of the DP World Control Tower team, based in Limerick.

The purpose of the role is to provide efficient, high-quality customer service within the Logistics Control Tower by acting as the central point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, effective issue resolution, and the smooth coordination of shipments between customers, carriers, and internal teams to support on-time delivery and overall service excellence.

How you will contribute

Deliver professional and responsive customer service, handling client inquiries, requests, and issues efficiently.
Act as the main point of contact for customers, providing updates on shipment status, delivery timelines, and potential delays.
Work closely with internal departments (operations, logistics, and warehousing) to ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment.
Coordinate with external carriers and partners to track shipments, resolve discrepancies, and ensure on-time delivery.
Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and case resolutions using internal systems.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing customer service practices.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and service level agreements (SLAs) to meet performance and customer satisfaction targets.

What you will bring

Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer service role; logistics or supply chain experience is advantageous.
Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with both customers and internal teams.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM or ticketing systems is desirable.
