O’Connor Woodwork is a fitted furniture specialist dedicated to the design and manufacture of high-end bespoke joinery. Due to continued growth with our leading Irish clients, we are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Technician to join our team.
This is a role where you will be the vital link between an architect's vision and the workshop’s reality, ensuring every finish meets our standards
Key Responsibilities
- Project Collaboration: Act as a technical point of contact, liaising effectively with design teams and our internal workshop fabricators.
- Technical Design: Produce precise, high-quality working drawings using Cabinet Vision and SketchUp for formal Architect approval.
- Manufacturing Prep: Translate approved designs into detailed fabrication drawings, ensuring our workshop staff has the exact specifications needed for production.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical construction details during the drawing phase to ensure seamless installation on-site.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency: Proven experience in CAD-based drawing packages. Specific expertise in Cabinet Vision and SketchUp is highly advantageous.
- Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of joinery construction, materials, and bespoke furniture manufacturing processes.
- Communication: The ability to communicate complex technical details clearly to both clients and colleagues

Pay: €29,005.00-€38,000.00 per year
