Customer Service & Office Administrator

ABC School Supplies | Monday–Friday, 9:00am–4pm | Office-Based

Are you ready to swap rigid corporate structures for a varied role where your ideas and contribution genuinely matter?

ABC School Supplies is a growing, family-run Irish business supporting schools, teachers and early-years settings throughout Ireland. We are looking for a friendly, capable and highly organised Customer Service & Office Administrator to join our team.

This is a busy and varied position suited to someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems and taking ownership of their work. No two days are exactly the same, and you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to both our customers and the wider business.

Working hours

The working hours for this role are 9:00am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

Answering incoming telephone calls and responding to customer emails
Assisting customers with order, delivery and account queries
Providing helpful information about our products and services
Preparing and processing customer quotations
Following up on queries and ensuring customers receive a prompt resolution
Processing orders and updating customer information
Working across several software systems throughout the day
Supporting the wider office team with general administration
Liaising with our warehouse, sales and accounts teams when required

What we’re looking for

Previous experience in customer service, administration or a similar office-based role
A confident and professional telephone manner
Strong written communication skills
Excellent organisation and attention to detail
The ability to manage multiple queries and priorities at the same time
Confidence using several software systems and learning new technology
A practical, positive approach to problem-solving
The ability to work independently while also being part of a close-knit team
An interest in education, schools or early-years learning would be an advantage
