Full job description

We are looking for an experienced chef who enjoys working with a variety of different cuisines. Located along the river Inagh in the vibrant town of Ennistymon we serve Neapolitan pizza as well as a regularly changing global street food kitchen.

What We Are Looking For:

Preparing and executing our food menus
Maintaining high standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance across all services.
Ensuring compliance with applicable health codes and regulations (HACCP).
Establishing and following maintenance and cleaning schedules for kitchen equipment, storage, and work areas.

Requirements:

Demonstrated knowledge of culinary techniques and practices, particularly with classic Irish and country house fare.
Experience working in a busy kitchen environment, managing both breakfast and evening services.
Understanding of health and sanitation laws; HACCP level 1 and 2 valid.
Excellent knife-handling skills and ability to work clean and tidy.
Positive attitude and good work ethic – we value these over years of experience.
Flexibility to work with different menus and event settings (from casual dining to weddings).
Have 2 work references we can check.
Minimum 2 years experience required, working with pizzas a bonus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: €18.00-€20.00 per hour
