Description

Inver Energy and Amber Petroleum are both part of the Greenergy Group, a leading waste-based renewables manufacturer and international supplier of road fuels. From our jointly owned terminal in Foynes, we offer a range of fuel products to industrial, commercial, agricultural, domestic, wholesale and retail customers. We also operate over 115 service stations under the Inver and Amber brands along with 18 convenience stores. The HR Coordinator will be responsible for providing efficient and professional administrative support across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the HR function. Working closely with the HR Manager, the role will support recruitment, onboarding, employee records, Workday administration, payroll coordination, reporting, learning and development and supporting the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries, providing timely support to employees and managers.
Coordinate all HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contractual changes, probation reviews and offboarding.
Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, including advertising jobs on relevant jobs boards, shortlisting candidates, scheduling interviews, and extending offers.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure the HR system and personnel files remain fully compliant and audit-ready.
Own the day-to-day administration and maintenance of the Workday HR system, ensuring employee data is accurate, up to date and fully compliant.
Prepare HR documentation including contracts, correspondence, policy updates, employee relations paperwork and meeting documentation.
Produce regular HR reports and dashboards covering headcount, turnover, recruitment, absence, training, probation and other key people metrics.
Coordinate mandatory training and support the delivery of learning and development initiatives.
Support the administration of employee relations matters by coordinating meetings, preparing documentation, maintaining confidential records and tracking case progress.
Assist with payroll administration by preparing and communicating employee changes accurately and within agreed deadlines.
Support the ongoing review and improvement of HR policies, procedures and processes to ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practice.
Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and support wider HR projects across the business.
Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role in support of the HR Manager and wider business objectives.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Previous experience in an HR Coordinator or HR Administration role, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
Workday experience an added advantage, but not mandatory.
Good understanding of Irish Employment Law.
Excellent attention to detail and a keen team player.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional, discreet and able to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
