Due to continued growth, we are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Sales & Business Development Manager to join our Ireland team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional with a strong understanding of the construction industry and a passion for developing customer relationships and winning new business.

The Role

As Sales & Business Development Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of existing customers while actively generating and converting new business opportunities. You will be responsible for managing the complete sales cycle, building long-term customer partnerships, and driving profitable growth throughout your territory.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Create and implement account development strategies for key customers.
Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and lead generation activities.
Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to order placement and successful implementation.
Prepare customer proposals, quotations, and commercial offers.
Work closely with the Sales Director to support continued growth and market development.
Promote service contracts and value-added solutions following equipment installations.
Support tender submissions and commercial bids.
Provide technical advice and solution recommendations to customers.
Collaborate with technicians, internal sales teams, and office-based colleagues to maximise opportunities.
Build a strong sales pipeline and consistently achieve sales targets.

About You

We're looking for a motivated sales professional who thrives in a customer-focused, technical sales environment.

Essential Experience & Skills

Experience in project sales, business development, or technical sales within construction, building products, industrial, or related sectors.
Strong understanding of construction sites, building processes, and project-based selling.
Proven ability to generate new business and grow existing accounts.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Strong commercial awareness and analytical ability.
Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously.
Knowledge of Irish construction regulations and industry practices.

Desirable

Experience working within a matrix or international organisation.
Technical, sales, marketing, or business-related qualification.
