A vacancy has arisen for a Materials Specialist in the Stores Department, based at Dublin Airport. The successful candidate will ensure goods inwards & outwards procedures are followed and incoming deliveries are processed in a timely fashion so as to support the efficient running of the operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately process receipts, stock location, issuing of Dublin Aerospace & customer materials;
Prompt processing of all deliveries so as to ensure efficient running of operations;
Ensure IT systems are used effectively and housekeeping maintained, e.g. Materials reject board (MRB) receipts;
Ensure all actions are compliant with Company procedures in relation to airworthiness, health & safety and environmental requirements;
Adherence to Goods Inwards and Goods Outwards procedures as appropriate;
Be prepared to undertake other duties as may be reasonably assigned by the Company from time to time.
Undertake any other duties as reasonably assigned in line with the requirements of the role.

Core Competencies / Key Skills Required:

Previous experience in a stores environment would be advantageous.
Ability to work on own initiative, be self-motivated and flexible in their approach to work.
Ability to work under pressure both in a team and on their own.
Strong communication and organisational skills both written and oral.
Good IT knowledge.
An appreciation of the importance of material supplies to the Dublin Aerospace operation.
Be available to obtain PAC approval for Stores Department in the future.

Essential Criteria:

Current full B Drivers licence;
Willingness to undergo training in Counter Balance Forklift operation.
Be willing to undergo Garda Vetting and be able to pass a 5 year background check.
Have permission to live and work in Ireland without restriction.
Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug screening.
Fluent in English (written & spoken).
