The Role.
GMC Utilities Group is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional who is looking to develop their career within a busy and growing organisation.

The successful candidate will support the accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring employees are paid correctly and all payroll-related records and requirements are maintained to a high standard.

Key Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:

Process weekly and/or monthly payroll accurately and on time.
Maintain accurate employee payroll records, including starters, leavers, changes to salary, hours and benefits.
Process statutory deductions, PAYE, PRSI and other payroll-related requirements.
Manage timesheets, attendance records, overtime and holiday information.
Respond to employee queries relating to payroll and provide timely and professional support.
Ensure payroll information is entered and maintained accurately within Sage.
Assist with payroll reconciliations and reporting.
Maintain confidentiality of all payroll and employee information.
Liaise with internal departments to resolve payroll queries and discrepancies.
Ensure payroll processes are completed in line with company policies and relevant legislation.
Provide general administrative support to the finance/payroll function as required.

The Candidate: Required Experience and Competencies:

Minimum 1 years’ experience in a Payroll Administration or similar role.
Previous experience processing payroll in a busy working environment.
Hands-on experience using Sage.
Good understanding of payroll processes and Irish payroll requirements.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
