Associate, CIR (Consumer, Industrial, Retail) Corporate Banking, GBM

Global Banking & Markets | Scotiabank (Ireland) | Dublin

The Role

Join Scotiabank’s Global Banking & Markets team in Ireland as an Associate in Corporate Banking. This role offers hands-on exposure to complex transactions, senior stakeholders, and a broad suite of global banking products within a high-performing, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality credit proposals, annual reviews, and financial analysis
Identify lending and cross-sell opportunities across Scotiabank’s product platform
Manage transactions end-to-end, liaising with Risk, Legal, and Operations
Support coverage of a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring compliance and monitoring
Partner effectively with Global Risk Management and internal product teams
Contribute to client pitches and broader marketing initiatives
Manage multiple priorities while delivering accurate, timely outputs
Operate in line with the Bank’s risk appetite, policies, and regulatory standards

What You’ll Bring

Experience in Corporate Banking, Credit Analysis, or a related financial services role
Strong financial accounting knowledge and financial modelling skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Proven ability to manage multiple transactions with strong attention to detail
Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
A university degree (CFA or CA qualification encouraged but not required)
Fluency in English; Spanish and/or French is an advantage
A proactive, team-oriented mindset with strong learning agility
