About Accel Capital Partners
Accel Capital Partners (Ireland) Limited is an international business working with clients, investors and professional partners across a range of business, investment and project-related services.
We are looking for a confident, motivated and commercially minded Sales Closer to join our growing team in Ireland.
This is not primarily a cold-calling or lead-generation position. The core purpose of the role is to work with prospective clients who have already expressed an interest in our services, understand their requirements, professionally present the appropriate solution and guide them towards making a decision.
The successful candidate will receive training on our services, sales process and scripts. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn the process thoroughly, practise consistently and develop the confidence and knowledge required to successfully close sales.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Closing
- Engage with warm and qualified prospective clients.
- Conduct structured sales and consultation calls.
- Understand each prospect's requirements, priorities and concerns.
- Clearly explain relevant Accel services and their value to the client.
- Follow the company's agreed sales process and scripts while adapting communication appropriately to each client.
- Handle questions and objections professionally.
- Guide qualified prospects through the decision-making process.
- Follow up prospective clients consistently and professionally.
- Work towards agreed conversion and sales targets.
- Maintain a strong focus on both client experience and commercial results.
2. Training & Product Knowledge
- Complete initial and ongoing sales training.
- Learn and understand the company's services, processes and client journey.
- Study and practise the approved sales scripts.
- Participate in role-play, call reviews and coaching sessions where required.
- Develop the ability to confidently explain services and respond to common client questions.
- Keep knowledge up to date as services, processes and sales materials develop.
A significant part of the initial period will therefore involve learning, training and becoming confident with the Accel sales process before being expected to manage opportunities independently.
3. Lead & CRM Management
- Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions.
- Update lead status and relevant information in the company's CRM system.
- Record calls, follow-ups, outcomes and agreed next steps.
- Ensure prospective clients are followed up within appropriate timescales.
- Maintain a clear and organised sales pipeline.
- Ensure relevant information is properly handed over to other team members following a successful sale.
4. Client Communication
- Build professional and trusted relationships with prospective clients.
- Communicate confidently by telephone, video call, email and other approved communication channels.
- Listen carefully to client requirements rather than relying solely on scripted selling.
- Maintain a professional and consultative approach throughout the sales process.
- Ensure information provided to clients is accurate and consistent with company guidance.
- Escalate questions requiring specialist or management input when appropriate.
5. Performance & Reporting
- Work towards agreed individual sales and conversion targets.
- Maintain consistent follow-up activity.
- Participate in regular sales and team meetings.
- Provide updates on active opportunities and pipeline progress.
- Review individual performance with management and respond positively to coaching and feedback.
- Contribute to improving scripts, processes and the overall client journey based on experience from sales conversations.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Confident and comfortable speaking with prospective clients.
- Naturally persuasive without using aggressive sales techniques.
- A strong listener who can understand what a client actually needs.
- Motivated by achieving measurable results.
- Willing to learn and follow a structured sales process.
- Comfortable learning and practising sales scripts.
- Resilient and able to handle objections and unsuccessful calls positively.
- Highly organised with good follow-up discipline.
- Professional and reliable.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Confident using online systems, email, video conferencing and CRM platforms.
Previous experience in sales, business development, account management, telesales, consultative sales or closing would be advantageous.
Experience selling professional, financial, investment, property, consultancy or other high-value services would also be beneficial.
However, we are particularly interested in candidates with the right communication skills, commitment and willingness to learn, and appropriate training will be provided.
Working Hours & Location
This is a part-time position of 20 hours per week, normally worked Monday to Friday for approximately 4 hours per day.
There is flexibility around the exact daily working hours, and the schedule can be discussed with the successful candidate based on both their availability and the needs of the business.
The role is hybrid.
You will be expected to work one day per week from our Dublin office:
Accel Capital Partners (Ireland) Limited
