Full job description

We are looking for a reliable, friendly and hardworking Van Delivery Driver to join our team 3 days a week.

The role involves delivering furniture and home interiors to customers throughout the local area and 26 counties. This is a hands-on position and involves heavy lifting and carrying furniture, so good physical fitness is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering furniture safely and efficiently to customers’ homes
Loading and unloading furniture from the delivery van
Carrying and positioning heavy furniture
Taking care when entering customers’ homes and protecting floors and walls
Assembling furniture where required
Providing a friendly and professional service to customers
Checking deliveries and ensuring items are delivered in good condition
Keeping the van clean, tidy and well maintained
Completing delivery paperwork when required
Working closely with the showroom and warehouse team

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

Friendly, polite and customer-focused
Reliable and punctual
Comfortable with heavy lifting
Comfortable with furniture assembly
Careful and responsible when handling furniture
Well presented and professional
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Organised and able to manage a busy delivery schedule
A good communicator
Flexible and willing to help with general warehouse duties when required

Previous furniture delivery or removal experience is an advantage, but not essential.

A full clean driving licence is required.

Pay: From €15.50 per hour
