Full job description

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Chef to join our kitchen team. We are looking for someone with a strong background in food preparation and service, who takes pride in producing good-quality, well-presented food.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of professional kitchen experience. Experience with carvery preparation would be a major advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cook and present food to a consistently high standard.
Carry out daily kitchen preparation and mise en place.
Prepare ingredients efficiently for busy services.
Prepare meats, vegetables, sauces, soups and other kitchen requirements.
Assist with carvery preparation, including preparation and cooking of roast meats, vegetables, potatoes, gravies and accompaniments.
Ensure food is cooked and presented according to the required standards.
Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen at all times.
Follow HACCP, food safety and health & safety procedures.
Monitor food quality, freshness and portion control.
Work efficiently during busy services and functions.
Minimise food waste and use ingredients responsibly.
Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
Assist with stock rotation, deliveries and general kitchen organisation when required.

Pay: €16.00-€18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
