Café Assistant – Build Gym & Coffee, Portlaoise

Full-Time Position | Immediate Start

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy being part of a friendly, energetic team?

Build Gym & Coffee is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Full-Time Café Assistant to join our growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for every customer.
Prepare and serve high-quality coffees, beverages, and light food.
Operate the till accurately and handle customer transactions.
Ensure the café is clean, organised, and presented to a high standard at all times.
Replenish stock and assist with daily café operations.
Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
Work collaboratively with the wider team to provide an excellent customer experience.
Assist with opening and closing duties as required.

About You

Friendly, outgoing, and confident interacting with customers.
Enthusiastic with a positive attitude and excellent work ethic.
Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work.
Able to work efficiently in a busy environment.
A strong team player who is also capable of working independently.
Previous café, barista, or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right person.
