Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

Join Our Team

O'Gorman Brannigan Purtill & Co. (OGBP) is a progressive and growing firm of Chartered Accountants, Tax Advisors, and Business Advisors based in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated, organised and professional Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established and highly respected practice with a strong reputation for client service and professional excellence.

Location: Clonmel, Co. Tipperary
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Expected Start Date: July or August 2026

The Role

As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a key role in creating a positive and professional experience for visitors and callers while providing administrative support to our accounting and advisory teams.

The successful candidate will enjoy working in a busy office environment, possess excellent organisational skills and be capable of managing a variety of administrative responsibilities efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

Acting as the first point of contact for clients, both in person and by telephone
Managing incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately
Greeting clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
Scheduling appointments and managing meeting room bookings
Assisting with client onboarding and maintaining client records
Preparing correspondence, reports, and documents
Managing incoming and outgoing post
Maintaining electronic and physical filing systems
Providing administrative support to partners and accounting staff
Assisting with general office management duties
Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the office

Requirements

Previous reception, administration, or customer service experience is desirable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational and time management abilities
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional, positive, and proactive attitude
Strong customer service skills and a commitment to delivering an excellent client experience
