Marketing Manager at Castlemartyr Resort

Castlemartyr Resort is looking for a highly motivated Marketing Manager to join our sales and marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maximising all sales opportunities with particular focus on the corporate, meetings and events and group segments (and other segments as required) and maximising all on and offline marketing activity, ensuring that the marketing function of the hotel represents the brand at all times.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Sales Executive/Coordinator looking to progress to the next stage of their career.

Knowledge and experience in the following areas is essential:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience in a Marketing, Sales or Business Development Executive role, preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry.
Experience in dealing with corporate and MICE markets locally, nationally, and internationally
Experience in lead generation and or creating successful sales pitches
Target focused and enjoys a challenging fun, never boring work dynamic
Good communicator who enjoys meeting with new people and embracing new opportunities
Creative thinker who is a problem solver not creator
Self-motivator, organised, who can work independently but with clear direction from the senior management team.
A proven track record in group and event conversion, as well as achieving sales targets.
This role will involve travel; candidates must have access to a car for work hold a full, clean drivers licence and be willing to travel overseas from time to time.

Must be target driven and capable of driving new business on their own initiative.
Target focused and enjoys a challenging fun, never boring work dynamic
Good communicator who enjoys meeting with new people and embracing new opportunities
Creative thinker who is a problem solver.
Fluent spoken and written English.
Self-motivator, and organised.

Duties include but are not exclusive to:

Identify new leads and sales opportunities for the hotel
Undertake weekly proactive sales calls/activities with clients as per agreed KPIs
Promote and generate new business for transient corporate, group and meetings events segments and other segments as required
Organise and conduct site inspections and FAM trips
Represent the hotel at networking events and trade fairs
Database management with focus on growing segmenting contacts for better communication
Competitor analysis updates and reviews
Maintain the highest level of communication internally and externally in line with the five-star hotel brand standards
Assist with managing the content of the hotel’s website and social media platforms
Manage email communication with the various segments
Ensure all FB outlets, golf, spa, weddings and leisure centre are being presented to the market appropriately, maximising sales and marketing opportunities for each of these outlets.
Support the DOSM with creation and implementation of the sales and marketing strategy to ensure that budget is achieved monthly and annually.
Ensure that all promotional material is current, effective and supports any new sales and marketing promotions.
