O'Donoghue Ring Collection is home to Hotels, Apartments, Spa, Restaurants & Bars centrally located in the vibrant town centre of Killarney and Castleisland, Co. Kerry. Our company philosophy is built upon three core values: employee experience, customer experience, and standards of excellence.

The River Island Hotel is a 56-bedroom 3* hotel located in Castleisland town center. We are looking for a Receptionist to join our experienced team full-time. The successful candidate must be available to work weekends and be flexible between morning and evening shifts. Morning shifts typically are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and evening shifts are 3:30 pm to 11:00 pm.

What you'll do:

Manage all reception duties, working as part of the wider Front Office Team.
Ensure the guests are completely satisfied through the prompt handling of guest queries in a friendly and efficient manner.
Anticipate guests' needs and ensure that service is provided to the level they require and beyond their expectations.
Strong knowledge and understanding of all standards of performance and delivery within all front office departments.
Answer the switchboard and hotel telephone as per the company standard of service.
Develop a strong working relationship with colleagues in your department and related departments.

About you:

Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
A team player with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Detail orientated, with the desire to progress within the luxury hospitality market.
Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A knowledge of the Hotsoft operating system would be an advantage but is not essential.
Fluent English language skills are essential.
