Full job description

Warehouse Administrator (Hands-On Role)

Tipperary

Martin Ryan Haulage are currently seeking a Warehouse Administrator to support operations within our busy Tipperary warehouse.

This is a permanent full-time position suited to someone who is organised, reliable, and capable of managing multiple administrative tasks within a fast-paced warehouse environment. While the role is primarily administration-based, the successful candidate will also be expected to support warehouse operations as required.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate warehouse records, including stock levels, shipments, and receipts
Process orders, delivery documentation, and schedules efficiently and accurately
Coordinate communication between warehouse staff, transport teams, and other departments
Assist with stock audits, reconciliations, and inventory reporting
Monitor and report on warehouse administration KPIs
Support compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements
Assist with improving warehouse administration processes and efficiencies
Handle customer queries and complaints professionally and in a timely manner
Maintain high standards in line with BRC Global Standards and company procedures
Provide support to warehouse operations as required, including stock checks, order picking, manual handling activities, and general warehouse duties
Work collaboratively with warehouse, transport, and administration teams to ensure operational efficiency

Requirements

Previous experience in warehouse administration, logistics, or office administration preferred
Strong organisational and time management skills
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office and administration systems
Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) desirable
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Professional, reliable, and flexible approach to work
Comfortable working in both an administrative and operational warehouse environment
Manual handling experience or certification would be an advantage
