The Hospitality Supervisor will provide critical support to management, coordinating all hospitality bookings and reporting directly to the Events and Hospitality Manager. Daily attendance on site is essential, including evenings when required

A a Hospitality supervisor you will be required to be flexible with your working hours depending on the number of events onsite, there will also be a requirement for evening shifts when required
Accountabilities or “what you have to do”
Role Responsibility
▪ Supervise the team and consistently deliver the highest standards of food quality and service.
▪ Co-ordinate meeting room and hospitality bookings.
▪ Deliver day-to-day service, stock management, labour control.
▪ Ensure customer requirements and expectations are met and exceeded wherever possible.
▪ Ensure that all staff are appropriately trained to the highest standards and provide refresher training where necessary.
▪ Ensure that all staff are fully briefed on the delivery of each event and remain focussed and engaged with the objective of providing a professional and highly efficient service.
▪ Ensure all staff uniforms, dress code and personal appearance are clean, neat and professional.
▪ Ensure bookings are managed in the most efficient manner and that prompt responses are provided to all booking requests.
▪ Carry out regular and systematic checks of the meeting rooms ensuring that rooms are clean, tidy and set up to the required standard.
▪ Promote a positive can-do attitude within the workplace.
▪ Comply with statutory and Company Hygiene Regulations relating to handling and storage of food and beverages.
▪ Carry out any reasonable request made by the client or Sodexo.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Essential
▪ Previous experience in similar role is required and must demonstrate a high level of customer service and interaction and ability to work across the various teams as and when directed.
▪ Working knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
▪ Ability to multi-task.
▪ Communication through written, electronic or visual means and oral communication, in both informal and formal situations across a range of audiences.
▪ Ability to self-motivate.
▪ Exemplary customer service skills and excellent attention to detail.
▪ Excellent organisational skills.
▪ Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team.
▪ A can-do attitude and flexible approach to working
▪ Excellent use of English language (written and spoken).
