Position Overview

Reports to: FP&A Specialist

Location: Dublin (Hybrid)

Salary: c. €50,000 , depending on experience

We are seeking an FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team and support the FP&A function in delivering budgeting, forecasting and profitability analysis across our multi-entity operations in Europe and the UK.

This is a hands-on analytical role, ideal for someone early in their FP&A career who wants to build strong financial modelling and business partnering skills within a growing finance function.

The role is well suited to a part-qualified accountant or a strong finance graduate with analytical experience, looking to develop into a senior FP&A position over time.

Key Responsibilities

Budgeting, Forecasting and Reporting Support

Support the FP&A function in the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, including consolidating departmental inputs.

Assist in building and maintaining financial models, templates and reporting tools.

Maintain customer & site budgets in Business Central via Projects interface.

Prepare first-draft variance analysis.

Help maintain data integrity and consistency across FP&A outputs.

Support the greater finance team if required.

Margin & Profitability Support

Assist with gross margin analysis by country, customer and site.

Support preparation of monthly margin bridge reporting.

Provide data gathering and modelling support for contract renewals and tenders.

Reporting & Systems

Help prepare elements of the monthly management reporting pack.

Maintain and update reporting in Excel & Business Central.

Support ERP-related data and reporting tasks as required.

Identify opportunities to improve and automate recurring reporting tasks.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience

1–3 years' experience in an FP&A, finance analyst or financial accounting role.

Strong Excel skills; exposure to Power BI is desirable.

Experience working with an ERP system. Business Central would be an advantage.

Competencies

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Clear written and verbal communication.

Proactive and keen to learn, with a willingness to take on new challenges.

Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Qualifications

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.

Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) preferred but not essential.
