Accounts Receivable and Sales Support Administrator

Summary of Role

Responsible for the accurate and timely management of accounts receivable activities and customs declarations, ensuring customer accounts are maintained, payments are collected, and import/export documentation complies with applicable customs and tax requirements. In addition, the role will involve some sales support administration.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable

Raise and issue customer invoices and credit notes.
Manage cash collection of cash sales prior to delivery
Assist sales reps in following up on overdue invoices and support credit control activities.
Investigate and resolve customer account and payment queries.
Maintain accurate financial records in the accounting system.
Liaise with sales, operations and customers regarding billing issues.
Sales Support Administration.

Customs Declarations

Liaise with external hauliers and their customs teams to prepare and submit export customs declarations accurately and within required deadlines.
Ensure customs documentation is complete and correctly coded.
Verify commodity codes, customs values, country of origin and other required information.
Monitor customs entries and resolve discrepancies or queries.
Maintain records of customs declarations and supporting documentation.
Ensure compliance with applicable Revenue/customs procedures and company policies.

Key Skills & Experience

Experience in accounts receivable, credit control or finance administration.
Experience with customs declarations desirable
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to speak fluent English

Qualifications

Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
Accounting, bookkeeping, logistics or customs qualification is an advantage.
Relevant practical experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.

Pay: €16.00-€18.00 per hour
