Learning & Development Specialist/Trainer

HOOP: 2:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. across Mon-Sun, subject to change

TELUS Digital Ireland

Location: onsite in Cork, Ireland

Salary: range across €34,400- 37,000 gross p/a + up to 10% performance bonus

Start date: September 2026

Reporting to the Learning Services Team Lead, you'll be the architect of our training excellence—designing, delivering, and continuously improving training programs that empower our teams to excel.

Here is where you will have impact:

Training Design & Development

Partner with our privacy-focused client and internal TELUS Digital teams to review, design, and develop training modules covering product features, privacy protocols, and customer support best practices
Create comprehensive, engaging course materials (manuals, handouts, case studies, exercises, assessments) that reflect current product updates and customer needs
Incorporate real-world scenarios and case examples to enhance learning and retention
Evaluate training effectiveness and refine content based on learning outcomes and feedback
Stay current on product developments, privacy protocols, and industry best practices

Training Delivery & Support

Deliver dynamic, interactive training to diverse groups—from new hires to existing team members
Provide structured onboarding and ramp-up support to new team members, instilling company and client values from day one
Adapt your communication style to different learner types and maintain group engagement
Address participant concerns and provide on-the-floor support as needed
Troubleshoot technical issues in training environments
Manage training logistics (scheduling, attendance, resources, equipment setup)
Maintain up to date expertise on company products and procedures.
Provide on-the-floor training and support to team members to ensure both client and TELUS Digital values are instilled in their work.
An effective team player, motivated, hardworking, and very flexible while maintaining a level of autonomy to get work done.

Collaboration & Client Partnership

Work closely with the client training department to deliver new product training and specialized training modules
Collaborate with Team Leads, internal stakeholders, and subject matter experts to identify training and performance needs
Partner with other training teams to improve training quality and consistency across programs
Maintain open communication channels with clients and internal teams

Continuous Improvement

Evaluate training program effectiveness against learning objectives
Maintain detailed records of learner development and training outcomes
Identify opportunities for improvement and implement enhancements
Stay informed about new training tools, learning management systems, and best practices
Must have the ability to take ownership of this role, and constantly strive to make continuous improvements to the training and performance function within TELUS Digital.

We are looking for someone with:

Proven experience designing and delivering training programs (ideally in BPO, tech, and customer-facing environments)
Demonstrated ability to translate complex product/technical knowledge into clear, engaging content
Experience with learning management systems, video conferencing, and training tools
Experience delivering training to large groups and managing diverse learner needs
Excellent IT skills and comfort with technology platforms
Strong proficiency (C1/C2) in the English Language
