Full job description

Quantity Surveyor – Wexford

Full-Time | Permanent Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing construction team based in Wexford.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project costs from tender stage through to final account, ensuring projects are delivered on budget and to the highest commercial standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare cost estimates, budgets and tender documentation.
Monitor project costs and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage subcontractor procurement, valuations and payments.
Prepare interim valuations, variations and final accounts.
Conduct cost analysis and value engineering exercises.
Review contracts and assist with commercial risk management.
Liaise with project managers, site teams, clients and suppliers.
Prepare accurate financial reports and forecasts for management.

Requirements:

Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics.
Previous experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost control procedures.
Excellent negotiation, communication and analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and quantity surveying software.
Full driving licence preferred.
