Executive Assistant (with Social Media Responsibilities)

Location: Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny
Job Type: Full-Time

Sanctuary is seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to support our founder in a varied and rewarding role. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organised, proactive and adaptable, with a creative flair and an interest in social media.

As the Executive Assistant, you will be the founder's right hand, ensuring their day-to-day schedule and priorities run smoothly while also assisting with capturing and coordinating engaging content for Sanctuary's social media channels.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a purpose-driven organisation where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Assistant

Manage the founder's diary, appointments and meetings.
Act as the primary point of contact between the founder, staff, visitors and external stakeholders.
Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and assist with follow-up actions.
Manage correspondence, emails and administrative tasks.
Assist with travel arrangements, event coordination and other day-to-day organisational duties.
Anticipate the founder's needs and proactively manage priorities.

Social Media Support

Capture photos and short videos of daily life at Sanctuary for social media.
Assist in creating engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok.
Work closely with the Head of Marketing and our in-house Videographer to plan and schedule content.
Help create Instagram Stories, Reels and other content that reflects the spirit and values of Sanctuary.
Keep up to date with social media trends and contribute creative ideas.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or Senior Administrator.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive, flexible and positive approach to work.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital tools.
An interest in social media and content creation.
Photography or video content experience would be an advantage.

Social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube)
Content creation and photography
Adobe Photoshop or Canva (desirable)

Requirements

Full-time, office-based role in Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny.
Applicants should live within a reasonable commuting distance.
Full, clean driving licence required.
