Registered Veterinary Nurse – Graduate / Junior position

You’ll be involved in consults, inpatient care, anaesthesia, and surgical support including orthopaedics. It’s a well-rounded role designed to give you a strong foundation early in your career. A Team You Will Enjoy Working With

Barna & Moycullen Vets is a well-established practice with a strong local reputation and a genuine community feel. You’ll join a small, welcoming team of 4 vets, 3 nurses and receptionist who work closely together and support one another across our 2 practices. There is a relaxed, respectful atmosphere and a strong focus on teamwork and balance. Flexible and part-time working arrangements are already part of the team, helping create a positive environment day to day.

The full-time role involves 36 hours (4 days) per week plus 1 in 4 Saturdays, and 5 on-call weekends per year.

Who This Role Is Perfect For

This role is perfect for a graduate or junior nurse ready to build a strong start in practice. You do not need lots of experience. What matters most is your mindset and approach. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, keen to learn, and takes pride in delivering great patient care. Being a positive team player is key.

You will need to be VCI registered or due to register in 2026.
