The Merrion, one of Dublin’s finest luxury hotels and one of the Leading Hotels of the World is recruiting for a full time Head of F&B Reservations to join our professional and friendly Food & Beverage Team.

Centrally located in Dublin within easy reach of public transport, this role will offer you the opportunity to work in a beautiful hotel where the highest of standards are in place and where you have all the tools you need to do your job. Learning & Development Opportunities

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain regular and effective communication across the team and all departments through daily briefings and hotel meetings.
Maximise sales opportunities through proactive selling and upselling.
Develop and maintain relationships with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Liaise with the Food & Beverage to review and update departmental policies and standards.
Manage VIP and regular guest requests with personalised attention and care.
Oversee Exclusive Events and Group bookings from initial inquiry to final execution.
Address guest complaints professionally, ensuring satisfactory resolutions.
Develop and implement effective communication systems within the team, including meetings and written updates.
Manage employee schedules, working hours, and holiday requests using system.
Promote a culture of anticipation and caring service at all times.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a Food & Beverage Reservations or similar hospitality role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
High attention to detail and organisational skills.
Sales-driven with experience in upselling and business analysis.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in reservation systems.
Passionate about luxury hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
