Job Description:
With a strong Data Centre project pipeline and continued expansion of our product offerings and markets, we are seeking an Air handling unit (AHU) product Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a great opportunity for a person with manufacturing or product engineering experience related to building services, HVAC or data centre construction.
Core duties:
Coordinate and manage a portfolio of Air Handling Unit (AHU) products and development initiatives, working closely with the senior management team to support business objectives
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, delivery schedules, and product roadmaps, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic priorities
Liaise with customers, manufacturing teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders, including occasional visits to manufacturing facilities and client sites to support project delivery and customer requirements
Support new product development activities, including feasibility studies, engineering input, testing, certification, market analysis, and assessment of customer needs and industry trends
Ensure product compliance with relevant regulations, standards, specifications, and quality requirements, while maintaining control of technical documentation, drawings, and project scope
Drive sustainability, supply chain development, and continuous improvement initiatives by promoting energy-efficient manufacturing processes, low-carbon materials, and robust supplier partnerships
Monitor project and product performance through budgeting support, resource planning, technical submittals, KPI development, and regular progress reporting to internal stakeholders and senior leadership
Essential Skills:
Proven experience in Air Handling Unit (AHU) design, selection, and manufacturing, supported by a degree in Mechanical, Building Services, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
Strong technical and analytical capability, with experience in product development, engineering problem-solving, and collaborating with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to deliver technically feasible solutions
Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to deliver projects within scope, budget, and agreed timelines while contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and commercial decision-making
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly, manage expectations, and build effective relationships across internal teams and external partners
Self-motivated and collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently, identify opportunities for innovation and market growth, and support occasional travel as required
