Steelite Specials is recruiting for a Graduate Technical Engineer to join our team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with Irelands largest and oldest Steel Lintel Manufacturer and has been proudly serving the construction industry throughout the country for the past 42 years. You will provide technical expertise and innovative lintel solutions for a wide range of building projects throughout Ireland.
You will work closely with customers, contractors, technical teams as well as colleagues across engineering sales and production, to deliver accurate structural calculations, bespoke solutions, technical support and production drawings.
What the role involves;
- Preparing accurate and competitive quotations for customers
-Completing load assessments and structural calculations for lintel solutions
- Recommending both standard bespoke lintels for specific projects
- Providing technical support via phone and email
- Producing product drawings for both clients and production
What we are looking for;
- A degree in Structural, Civil or Mechanical engineering.
- A keen interest in the construction/building industry (site experience is a plus)
- Proficient skills in AutoCad and Excel
-Strong communication skills
-Motivated to learn and work both individually and as part of a team
- Good organisation and time management skills.
Pay: From €39,000.00 per year
